Live on July 4th
We, #AGIR972 are proud that the Marquis de Lafayette boat Hermione participates in the celebration of The Declaration of Independence, the États-Unis, July 4, 1776. On July 4 stands for American national holiday.
Fanfare, applauded by an enthusiastic crowd, #Hermione arrived Wednesday in New York where she must participate in three days of celebrations.
I encourage New Yorkers to visit Saturday, July 4th boating parade where they can admire the guest of honor: the Hermione. For, it is a great symbol of friendship between the United States and #France, it is important to remember that France has contributed so much to the US establishment.
There can not be any stronger symbol of Franco-American friendship. After the 4th of July celebrations, the famous three-masted ship will resume its journey north, with stops planned in Greenport, New York, Boston and Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon particular, before returning to France on 10 August.
